Florida registered-agent options
FloridaFormed and Filerra do not currently provide registered-agent service. We will not list either company as your agent or charge you an agent subscription.
What Florida requires
Every Florida LLC must name a registered agent that has agreed to serve, has a physical Florida street address, and is available during normal business hours to receive service of process and official notices. A PO Box alone is not sufficient.
Your two practical choices
- Appoint yourself. This can be free if you meet Florida's requirements. The address appears on the public Sunbiz record, and you must be reliably available there during business hours.
- Use an independent provider. Obtain the provider's exact legal name, Florida street address, and consent before starting the filing. Pay that provider directly under its own agreement.
A registered-agent address replaces only the agent line. Florida may still publish the principal office, mailing address, and authorized-person information included in the filing.
Using the FloridaFormed intake
The order form asks whether you are serving as your own agent or using another consenting provider. It does not offer FloridaFormed or Filerra as an option.
