Every Florida LLC must file an annual report by May 1 — even if nothing changed. Miss it and the state adds a $400 penalty. To avoid administrative dissolution, the report must be filed by the third Friday in September; dissolution is processed at the close of the fourth Friday.

Yes. Florida requires every LLC to name a registered agent with a physical Florida street address to receive legal and state mail. You can be your own, but many owners prefer not to list their home address publicly — we'll walk you through both options.
