Sunbiz Rejected Your Filing

A rejection is not a refusal. It is almost always a fixable defect — once you know which one.

$49flat — and $0 if we filed it

Nothing is charged when you order. Send us the rejection notice, we tell you what actually went wrong, and you approve an invoice before anything is paid.

If we filed it, this is free

No conditions and no argument. If FloridaFormed or Filerra submitted the document Florida rejected, we diagnose it, correct it and refile it at no charge — the checkout sets the price to $0 the moment you tell it we were the filer. Our error, our problem.

What Florida actually rejects filings for

Sunbiz rejection notices are terse and often unhelpfully generic. In practice the cause is usually one of these:

What the $49 covers

The fee question, answered honestly

People ask whether they have to pay Florida twice. The answer is: it depends on why it was rejected, and we will not pretend otherwise before we have looked. In some cases the state retains your original fee and applies it to the corrected filing. In others the fee comes back to you and is due again when you refile. Our checkout therefore quotes no state fee up front — we confirm the position on your specific record and re-issue the invoice for your approval before anything is paid.

What we cannot fix

Two honest limits:

Questions

I do not have the rejection notice any more. Can you still help?

Usually yes. Order anyway and tell us what you remember — we can often work out the defect from your Sunbiz record and the document you tried to file.

How fast can you refile?

We diagnose within one business day of payment and refile as soon as you approve the correction — three business hours with priority handling ($49). Florida’s own processing time then applies, and for mail-only filings that is several business days.

Was it my fault?

Often not. Florida’s forms are unforgiving about things no reasonable person would guess, and the rejection notices rarely explain them. That is the whole reason this page exists.

FloridaFormed, a Filerra, LLC company, is a business filing and information service — not a law firm. Nothing here is legal or tax advice. We prepare and file documents at your direction; we do not decide what is right for your situation. State fees are set by Florida and can change — the Sunbiz fee schedule above is authoritative.

Every Florida filing we do

Every price above is our fee plus Florida's own charge, shown separately. Priority handling is $49 on any filing and speeds up our queue, never the state's.
